Jot can be used without creating an account, which makes it the perfect place for growing a new community; just share an invitation link and anyone can join.

The ability to have multiple chats with the same person or group of people makes it easy to stay on topic. Perhaps one chat for planning a trip and one for talking about your pets?

Roadmap

Jot is in active development, so features are constantly being improved and added. You can expect things like:

• More extensive user profiles
• Personal emojis and stickers
• Social networking infrastructure
• More in-chat ways to express yourself
• Rich text editing and other useful things

Developers should see API access, documentation and an SDK or a bot library.

For users within the cryptocurrency community: wallet authentication, token-gated communities and embedded charts and trading tools.

These are only a handful of the features planned for the future.

There is not yet a mobile app for Jot, but the browser version works very well, especially if you add it to your home screen (instructions here).
